This John Deere 5500 pencil injector is a NEW injector manufactured by Stanadyne. It is used in the later John Deere 5500 tractors from engine S/N 308583 and up. Unlike a reman injector there are no worn out, used parts, and eroded spray holes which cause hard starts, rough running, and excessive smoke. Stanadyne is the original equipment manufacturer for pencil injectors used in John Deere 5500 tractors.
