This John Deere 4230 pencil injector is a NEW injector manufactured by Stanadyne. Unlike a reman injector there are no worn out used parts and eroded spray holes which cause hard starts, rough running, and excessive smoke. Stanadyne is the original equipment manufacturer of the early 4230 injector. The later 4230 engines used a Bosch nozzle and holder assembly.
