This is a remote PMD kit for the GM 6.5L turbo diesel DS pump. It includes the PMD with wiring harness, a #9 resistor, and the remote mount for the PMD (also called a FSD cooler). PMD failures are frequently associated with the temperature extremes due to its location mounted on the driver's side of the injection pump in the engine valley. With the remote mount, the PMD is relocated above the engine allowing air circulation and the design of the remote mount to disipate the heat and reduce the temperature extremes to the electronics. The #9 resistor replaces what originally was in the old PMD. It allows slightly more fuel flow to the engine.
